Saturday morning...

and the Museum of Transportation

Steve's Austin 7. What a sweet car! Note the turning wind-up key just visible in the middle of the spare tire.

Bustlin! What a sight: sunshine, and giddy visitors.

The east side of the field, right to left: the front wheel of an electric trike, a Saab Sonet, Glas 1500,

Heinkel Tourist scooter (peeping over the Glas), 2CV, Microbus. This is the "misc" side, the side where I live.

Peter's Raleigh from Nottingham, England, 1934. The front seems to float over the road.

Huzzah for Peter's stunning total restoration, well loved and generously shared..

Under the Raleigh's bonnet: the front wheel, its suspension and steering rack, then the V-twin motor.

Steve's Subaru "TTW" (Tilting Three-Wheeler) The back stays level while the rider and the front lean.

Steve's Subaru TTW leaning the other way.

"Quoi?!" asks the man in the plaid shirt. Max's TTW next to

Steve's. (Max's is electric, and all three wheels lean.)

Is that man doubled over laughing?

Seeing two Tilting Three-Wheelers side-by-side is a very rare event!

Such is the magic of the Microcar and Minicar Classic.
